In south central Nevada, Northeastern Nye and Northwestern Nye. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. In addition, flash flooding is possible over recently burned areas like the former Ward Fire, Kearny Fire, Oxley Fire, Secret Pass Fire, Starr Valley Fire, Jones Fire, and Egberts Fire. Other burn scar locations in the watch area could also be affected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Deep moisture from decaying Hurricane Rachel is expected to move northward, crossing into portions of east-central and eastern Nevada late tonight through roughly Monday. This significant moisture will interact with upper level low pressure to bring widespread showers with isolated thunderstorms to the watch area. Winds remain below advisory levels late this morning through the early evening hours. Southerly winds are expected to increase once again later this evening into early Monday morning. * WHERE...White Pine, Southeastern Elko, Northeastern Nye, and Northwestern Nye Counties. * WHEN...Until 5 AM PDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
