About

Pine Creek Campground is a small, primitive 5-site campground located in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, approximately 4 miles south of the remote town of Jarbidge, Nevada. Situated along Forest Road 58064 in Jarbidge Canyon, the campground provides direct access to the Jarbidge Wilderness via the Pine Creek Trail. This free campground is a popular base camp for summer hikers exploring the wilderness and for hunters during fall hunting seasons. The campground offers basic amenities including vault toilets and picnic tables at each site. Campers must bring their own water, as no potable water is available on-site. The small size and primitive nature of Pine Creek make it ideal for those seeking a quieter, more secluded camping experience. The surrounding area offers opportunities for fishing in nearby creeks, OHV road riding, day hiking, and backpacking into the Jarbidge Wilderness. Due to its remote location and high elevation in the Jarbidge Mountains, the campground operates seasonally from June through October, weather and road conditions permitting. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on leash within the campground. The maximum recommended RV length is 25 feet, and stays are limited to 14 consecutive days.
