About

Camp Draw Trailhead is a remote dispersed camping area and trailhead that serves as a primary access point to the Jarbidge Wilderness in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. Located at 6,500 feet elevation in northeastern Nevada's rugged backcountry, this primitive site caters to wilderness enthusiasts, backpackers, and equestrians seeking to explore the 113,000-acre Jarbidge Wilderness. The trailhead is accessed via Forest Service Road 062, a remote dirt road requiring high-clearance vehicles and potentially four-wheel drive depending on conditions. Camp Draw Trail connects to an extensive network of wilderness trails including connections to Cougar Creek Trail, East Fork Jarbidge River Trail, and routes to Jarbidge Lake and Mary's River Basin. Facilities are minimal by design, consisting of vault toilets and dispersed camping areas suitable for horse camping. No potable water is available, and visitors must come fully self-sufficient. The area receives moderate use and offers true backcountry solitude in one of Nevada's most isolated wilderness regions. Fire pits and tables are not provided at this dispersed site.
