Located in the heart of Black River State Forest, Pigeon Creek Campground offers a traditional rustic camping experience with modern convenience. This year-round family campground features 38 non-electric campsites, including one ADA-accessible site, nestled among the scenic forests of central Wisconsin. The campground is well-equipped for a comfortable stay with three vault toilet buildings, hand pump water access, and a garbage and recycling center. A sandy swimming beach on Pigeon Creek provides a refreshing spot for summer recreation, and a canoe launch offers easy access for paddlers to explore the waterway. Firewood is available for purchase on-site. Nature lovers will appreciate the interpretive hiking trails and off-road bike trails accessible from the campground. During winter months, a limited number of sites are plowed when conditions and staffing allow, making it possible to camp year-round. However, water systems may not be available from approximately October 1 through May 15 depending on weather conditions. All campers must make advance reservations through the Wisconsin State Park System, and a vehicle admission sticker is required for entry to the state forest.

Directions

From I-94, take Millston Exit 128. Travel east on County Road O for approximately 1/4 mile, then turn left onto North Settlement Road. The campground is located two miles north on North Settlement Road.
