About
Pierre Lake Campground is a small USFS facility nestled on the shores of Pierre Lake in Washington's Colville National Forest. The campground features 15 sites arranged in two sections: the north end has six sites designed for smaller camping rigs, while the south end contains nine sites best suited for pickup truck campers and tent camping. The south end has a tight J-hook turnaround, making it unsuitable for larger RVs. The lake offers excellent fishing opportunities with year-round open season. Anglers can target largemouth bass, black crappie, bullhead catfish, kokanee, rainbow trout, and westslope cutthroat trout from the 175-foot fishing dock or by boat. Both motorized and non-motorized watercraft are permitted, and the lake is ideal for kayaking and canoeing. A Washington state fishing license is required, and use of lead weights is prohibited. Basic amenities include potable water from faucets, vault toilets, fire rings at each site, and picnic tables. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis at $6 per night. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and the maximum stay is 14 days.
