About

Elbow Lake Campground offers a secluded camping experience in the Three Rivers Ranger District of Colville National Forest. Located 9.5 miles west of Northport and 8 miles north of Marble, this free campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site. Campers must bring their own water as no potable water is available on site. The lake itself is now divided into two segments: a 7.1-acre marshy northern area and a 6.4-acre southern section accessible via a steep path from the campground. Fishing opportunities exist with a Washington state fishing license, and two-pole fishing is permitted. The quiet atmosphere and remote location make this an excellent choice for those seeking solitude. Sites are more suited to tent camping than trailers or large RVs due to the campground's primitive nature. OHV use is prohibited within the campground, and standard forest regulations apply including a 14-day maximum stay, leashed pets, and quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
