About

North Gorge Campground is a small but popular lakeside destination located at the northeast edge of Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area. Set in a beautiful pine forest along the water's edge, the campground offers 12 reservation-only campsites. While most sites are designed for tent camping, six sites can accommodate RVs, with maximum lengths ranging from 18 to 36 feet depending on the site. There are no hookups available. The campground features a small boat launch and dock on the north side of the main loop, providing easy access to Lake Roosevelt for boating, fishing, swimming, and water skiing. All sites include picnic tables and fire rings. The campground has vault toilets but no potable water, so campers must bring their own. The location offers stunning lake views and a peaceful setting among the pines. North Gorge is accessible via WA-25, approximately 16.4 miles north of Kettle Falls. During summer, the campground is particularly busy on weekends. Nearby attractions include St. Paul's Mission, Fort Colville, and the scenic Sherman Drive loop. The campground has paved roads and parking spaces, with one designated ADA-accessible site.

Directions

From Spokane, take WA-395 north for 70.3 miles to Kettle Falls. Turn right onto WA-25 North and travel approximately 16.4 miles. Turn left at the North Gorge Campground sign. The campground is on the west side of the highway.
