About

Pat's Bluff Day Use is a day-use recreation area on the southern shore of Sardis Lake in Panola County, Mississippi. The facility provides boat ramp access to the 32,000-acre reservoir, which is consistently ranked among the best crappie fishing lakes in the country and also offers excellent bass and catfish fishing. The area includes a group picnic shelter accommodating approximately 50 people. This is strictly a day-use facility for boat launching and picnicking. Overnight camping is not available here. Campers seeking overnight stays should look for the separate Pat's Bluff Campground, which offers 15 sites with water and electric hookups, flush toilets, showers, and a dump station. The recreation area is named for the prominent sandstone bluff along the shoreline and is surrounded by a mix of hardwood and pine forests with scenic views of Sardis Lake.
