About
Outlet Channel sits on the scenic shores of the Lower Lake at Sardis, a 400-acre impoundment on the downstream side of Sardis Dam. The site functions primarily as a day-use area with over 30 individual picnic sites featuring covered tables, a small basketball court, fishing pier, and swim beach. For groups, there is one reservable shelter with electric hookup that can accommodate up to 150 people at $100 per night.
Sardis Lake spans over 98,000 acres across Panola, Lafayette, and Marshall Counties. The Outlet Channel area is easily accessible from Interstate 55, located approximately 8 miles east via Highway 35/315 from either Batesville or Sardis.
