Paradise Point is a scenic day-use and picnic area located on the shoreline of the 400-acre Lower Lake below Sardis Dam at Sardis Lake in Panola County, Mississippi. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this popular recreation area offers visitors a wide range of outdoor activities and amenities for families and groups.
The area features two reservable group picnic shelters with electricity, perfect for gatherings and events, along with 28 individual picnic sites scattered throughout the grounds. A large swim beach on the Lower Lake is a major draw during the warm months, providing a refreshing escape in the beautiful Northwest Mississippi landscape. Additional recreational amenities include a basketball court, volleyball court, and playground equipment for younger visitors.
Sardis Lake itself spans over 98,000 acres of land and water through Panola, Lafayette, and Marshall counties, offering extensive opportunities for fishing, boating, and exploring the surrounding forest and lake environments. Paradise Point provides scenic views of the Lower Lake and serves as an excellent base for day-trip activities. The area is accessible from Interstate 55 via Highway 35/315, approximately 8 miles east of either Batesville or Sardis, Mississippi.
