About
Welcome to Oak Grove Campground, the largest campground at Sardis Lake and your gateway to some of the best freshwater recreation in North Mississippi. This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground features 81 spacious RV sites, each equipped with 50 amp electric, water, and sewer hookups, making it ideal for extended stays and larger rigs.
The campground sits in the heart of Sardis Lake's most popular recreation areas, providing immediate access to swim beaches, picnic areas, basketball and volleyball courts, hiking trails, and boat ramps to both the upper and lower lakes. An on-site boat dock offers convenient lake access right from the campground. Three modern restroom/shower buildings and a playground serve the campground's guests.
Sardis Lake itself is a nationally recognized crappie fishery, drawing anglers from across the region. The 98,000-acre recreation area, created by the Sardis Dam in 1940, is surrounded by beautiful forests and rolling hills. Beyond fishing, the lake is popular for boating, sailing, and various water sports. Oak Grove is conveniently located about 10 miles from I-55 and the towns of Sardis and Batesville, with Oxford and the University of Mississippi just 30 minutes away.
