About

Clear Creek Campground sits in the bottomland hardwood forests surrounding Sardis Lake, a 98,000-acre reservoir on the Tallahatchie River in northwest Mississippi. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District, the campground provides convenient lake access just 15 minutes from Oxford. Much of the campground is currently closed, with camping limited to 19 sites in the back section. These sites offer 50-amp electric and water hookups on paved back-in driveways accommodating vehicles up to 65 feet. The facility includes flush toilets, hot showers, and potable water. A dump station is available near the campground exit. Recreation opportunities include a boat ramp on-site, fishing, water skiing, and swimming on Sardis Lake. The adjacent 13-mile mountain bike trail provides hiking and biking terrain through the surrounding forest. John W. Kyle State Park across the lake offers additional amenities including a swimming pool and golf course.
