About

Pat's Bluff Recreation Area sits along a distinctive sandstone bluff on the southern shore of Sardis Lake in the rolling hills of North Mississippi. The campground features 15 sites arranged in two loops (Upper End and Lower End) beneath a canopy of mixed hardwood and pine forest that opens to scenic lake views. All sites include water and 50-amp electric hookups with paved driveways. Sardis Lake is consistently ranked among the top crappie fishing destinations in the country, with excellent bass and catfish populations as well. The 32,000-acre reservoir supports a wide range of water recreation including boating, water skiing, and swimming. The campground's boat ramp provides direct lake access. Conveniently located just 10 miles east of I-55 via Highway 278, Pat's Bluff is a 20-minute drive from Oxford (home of Ole Miss) and 10 minutes from Batesville. The nearby towns of Sardis and Como offer additional services. Campers are limited to 14 consecutive nights per 30-day period at any single USACE Vicksburg District campground.
