About

Cypress Point is a day use area situated on the shore of the Lower Lake at Sardis Dam in Panola County, Mississippi. The Lower Lake is a 400-acre body of water on the downstream side of Sardis Dam, offering scenic views and recreational opportunities. The facility includes a group picnic shelter available for reservation at $100 per day, 24 individual picnic sites, a small playground, a basketball court, and a swim beach. A day use fee of $5 per vehicle applies for beach access. Amplified music and bouncy houses require prior approval from the Sardis Lake Field Office. Cypress Point is conveniently located near other day use and camping facilities at Sardis Lake, making it an accessible option for visitors exploring the area. Note that this is a day use area only and does not offer overnight camping.

From Interstate 55 at Batesville, MS, drive approximately 8 miles east on MS Hwy 35/315 to reach Cypress Point.
