About

Beach Point Campground is a primitive tent-only campground situated on the north end of Sardis Dam in Panola County, Mississippi. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District, this small campground provides 14 tent sites with scenic views of Sardis Lake. The campground is ideal for campers seeking a basic lakeside experience without the crowds found at larger developed campgrounds. The campground is adjacent to a boat ramp, making it convenient for anglers and boaters exploring Sardis Lake. Facilities include restrooms and jug fillers for water. Sites do not have electric hookups, staying true to the tent-camping experience. Sardis Lake covers over 32,000 acres at normal pool and offers excellent fishing for crappie, bass, and catfish. The area around Beach Point is popular for both fishing and recreational boating.
