About
Paha Campground is located at 7,000 feet elevation along Robinson Creek, approximately 10 miles from Bridgeport, California. The campground is set beneath towering Jeffrey pines with lodgepole pines, sagebrush, and seasonal wildflowers dotting the landscape. Robinson Creek provides excellent rainbow trout fishing and can be easily accessed from within the campground. The Twin Lakes area is nearby, offering mountain scenery, boating, canoeing, and fishing for Kokanee salmon, rainbow and brown trout. Numerous hiking trails are in the vicinity, including the popular Robinson Creek Trail. The rugged Hoover Wilderness can be accessed from the Twin Lakes area, providing additional opportunities for hiking and horseback riding. The campground offers 21 sites total, including single-family sites, two double sites, and one furnished yurt. One site is ADA accessible. All sites include picnic tables, bear-proof food storage lockers, and campfire rings with grills. Reservations are available through Recreation.gov during peak season.
Directions
From Highway 395 in Bridgeport, turn south on Twin Lakes Road at the Shell gas station. Travel approximately 11 miles. The campground is on the left side of the road.
