Located in the agricultural heartland of northwest Ohio, Harrison Lake State Park Campground sits within 142 acres of scenic woodlands surrounding a 105-acre lake. The campground features 193 sites divided between North and South campgrounds, with 126 sites offering electric hookups suitable for RVs and trailers. The facility includes modern amenities such as flush toilets, hot showers with good water pressure, a dump station, laundromat, and camp store. The park's centerpiece is Harrison Lake, a 15-foot-deep impoundment offering excellent fishing for bluegill, largemouth bass, northern pike, crappie, and catfish. A designated swimming beach provides lake access during warm months, while non-motorized boats and rentals allow for peaceful paddling. A 3.5-mile hiking trail circles the lake through woodlands and offers scenic views. Additional amenities include playgrounds, horseshoe pits, picnic areas, and disc golf. Winter camping is available, with opportunities for cross-country skiing, sledding, and ice fishing. The campground also offers camper cabins and rent-a-yurt options for those seeking alternative accommodations. Located near Fayette in Fulton County, the park provides a wooded oasis amid endless farm fields.

Directions

From Ohio Turnpike Exit 25, go north on State Route 66 for 3 miles to County Road M, turn left on M for 2 miles to County Road 27. Turn right on County Road 27 for 0.5 miles to County Road MN, turn right on County Road MN and follow park office signs.
