About

Harrison Lake State Park Campground occupies a peaceful corner of northwest Ohio's Fulton County, where 142 acres of scenic woodlands wrap around a 105-acre impounded lake. The park splits its 193 campsites between two distinct camping areas. The North Campground contains the majority of electric sites and serves as the hub for modern amenities, including a bathhouse with flush toilets and hot showers, a dump station, laundromat, and camp store. The South Campground offers a more rustic experience with vault toilets, though campers can drive to the North Campground facilities. Each campsite comes equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. Some sites offer full hookups with water, electric, and sewer connections, and pull-through sites are available for larger rigs. Beyond tent and RV camping, the park rents camper cabins and yurts from May through October, as well as Rent-A-Camp setups for those wanting to try camping without bringing gear. The centerpiece Harrison Lake reaches 15 feet deep and supports populations of bluegill, largemouth bass, northern pike, crappie, and catfish. A designated swimming beach provides summer relief, while unlimited horsepower electric motors and non-motorized boats allow quiet exploration of the water. A 3.5-mile trail circles the lake through the surrounding woodlands, and additional recreation includes basketball and volleyball courts, soccer fields, playgrounds, horseshoe pits, and disc golf.
