Marzolf Shelter is one of the reservable picnic shelterhouses at Harrison Lake State Park, a 142-acre park in northwestern Ohio surrounded by agricultural land. The shelter is located in the southern section of the park, just beyond the South Campground and maintenance facility, providing easy access to the boat ramp and Harrison Lake. Harrison Lake State Park offers a variety of recreational opportunities centered around the 95-acre lake. Visitors can enjoy fishing, swimming, paddling, and hiking trails around the lake. The park features North and South campgrounds with electric hookups, flush toilets, showers, and a dump station. Day-use amenities include picnic areas, boat ramps, and beach access. The Marzolf Shelter provides a covered gathering space for picnics and group activities. The park is open year-round, allowing visitors to experience all four seasons, including winter activities like ice fishing. Reservations for the shelter can be made through the Ohio State Parks reservation system.

Directions

From State Route 20, travel 2 miles west of Fayette, Ohio to County Road 27, then south 2 miles. From State Route 127 north of West Unity, take Williams County Road O (Fulton M). The Marzolf Shelterhouse is located just beyond the South Campground and maintenance facility.
