Mary Jane Thurston State Park Campground occupies 105 acres along the Maumee State Scenic River, one of Ohio's premier waterways for fishing and paddling. The campground features a mix of electric sites (23 with 30-amp service) and primitive tent sites (16 walk-in sites). Premium sites 1-4 include both electric and water hookups. Every site has a fire ring and picnic table, creating a comfortable riverside camping experience. The Maumee River draws anglers for some of the best walleye, smallmouth bass, and catfish fishing in Ohio. A boat launch provides river access, and the park includes hiking trails and a swimming beach. The campground has pit toilets on-site, with an outdoor shower available. Flush toilets and a shower house are located at the marina about a mile away. A dump station is available near the park office. Pets are welcome at all sites. The campground is open year-round, though winter camping is limited as restrooms close seasonally and only a portable toilet remains available. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance through ReserveOhio.

Located at 1466 State Route 65, McClure, Ohio 43534. From Toledo, take US-24 west to State Route 65 south. The park entrance is on the right along the Maumee River.
