About

Harrison Lake State Park Group Camp provides a dedicated camping area for organized youth groups in northwest Ohio. Located within the 142-acre state park, the group camp is available by reservation and can accommodate up to 100 people. The camp is designed for supervised youth organizations, requiring at least one adult for every ten juveniles per Ohio State Parks regulations. The park surrounds a scenic 105-acre lake offering swimming at a designated beach, fishing for bass and panfish, and paddling opportunities with canoe rentals available. The wooded setting provides a natural retreat in an otherwise agricultural region of Fulton County. The main campground areas feature flush toilets, showers, and a dump station, while the group camp area typically has more primitive facilities including pit latrines. Harrison Lake State Park is open year-round with no entrance fees. The campground operates with full facilities from approximately April through October, with reduced services during the off-season (November through March) when only select electric sites remain open with vault toilets and water but no showers or dump station access.

Directions

From the Ohio Turnpike (I-80/90), take Exit 34 (OH-108) and head south toward Fayette. The park entrance is located at 26246 Harrison Lake Road, Fayette, Ohio 43521.
