Alum Creek Campground is situated within Alum Creek State Park, one of central Ohio's premier outdoor destinations located just north of Columbus in Delaware County. The campground features 286 campsites, each equipped with electricity and water hookups, distributed across a mix of wooded and open settings. Many sites offer views of the 3,387-acre Alum Creek Reservoir. The campground is designed to accommodate both RVs and tent campers, with large, well-spaced sites separated by trees and vegetation for privacy. Campground amenities include centrally located bathhouses with hot showers and flush toilets, Wi-Fi connectivity, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, and playgrounds. Overnight guests enjoy exclusive access to a private beach area and boat launch on the reservoir. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and firepit. The campground also features a nature center offering educational programs and guided hikes. Beyond camping, the park offers extensive recreational opportunities including access to Ohio's largest inland beach at 3,000 feet, fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming, and over 40 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. A primitive campground is also available for those seeking a more rustic experience along the bridle trail.

From Columbus, Ohio, take I-71 north to exit 121 for Polaris. Turn right on Polaris Parkway, left on Worthington Road, left on Africa Road, then left on Lewis Center Road. The campground is located at 2911 South Old State Road, Delaware, OH 43015.
