Locally heavy rainfall can be expected with the potential for storms to repeatedly track over the same locations. This will result in the potential for flash flooding.

Northeastern Logan County in west central Ohio... * WHEN...Until 530 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 126 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected until later today. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Belle Center, West Mansfield, Northwood, Mount Victory, Rushsylvania, Ridgeway, Big Springs, Mentzer, Silver Creek and Byhalia.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio, including the following counties, in north central Ohio, Ashland, Crawford, Erie, Huron, Knox, Lorain, Marion, Morrow and Richland. In northeast Ohio, Cuyahoga, Holmes, Medina, Stark, Summit and Wayne. In northwest Ohio, Hancock, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Wood and Wyandot. * WHEN...From 11 AM EDT this morning through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Since Sunday afternoon, three rounds of showers and storms have moved through the region and a large portion of northern Ohio has received 1 to 2 inches of rain with some locally higher amounts. Another round or two of storms is expected on Tuesday into Tuesday night that could bring another 1 to 2 inches of rain with locally higher amounts where repeated storms occur.
