* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio, including the following counties, in north central Ohio, Ashland, Crawford, Erie, Huron, Knox, Lorain, Marion, Morrow and Richland. In northeast Ohio, Cuyahoga, Holmes, Medina, Stark, Summit and Wayne. In northwest Ohio, Hancock, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Wood and Wyandot. * WHEN...Through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Since Sunday afternoon, three rounds of showers and storms have moved through the region and a large portion of northern Ohio has received 1 to 2 inches of rain with some locally higher amounts. Another round or two of storms is expected on Tuesday into Tuesday night that could bring another 1 to 2 inches of rain with locally higher amounts where repeated storms occur. About

Mt. Gilead State Park Campground sits within 181 acres of pine forest in Morrow County, about an hour north of Columbus. The campground operates year-round with 59 sites: 22 full hookup sites offering water, electric, and sewer connections, and 37 electric-only sites providing 30 and 50-amp service. Two camper cabins and primitive Rent-A-Camp sites with furnished tents are also available. Each campsite comes equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. Facilities include a modern shower house with flush toilets, a camp store stocking supplies and convenience items, and a dump station. The campground accommodates RVs up to 40 feet. Pets are welcome with a limit of two domestic cats or dogs per site. Beyond camping, the park offers hiking trails, a disc golf course, fishing and paddling on two small lakes, and recreation courts for volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, and shuffleboard. A playground provides activities for children. Winter visitors can enjoy cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and ice skating when conditions permit.
