About

Orr Lake Campground is a small, no-fee USFS campground situated on Orr Lake in Siskiyou County, offering stunning views of Mt. Shasta. The campground features 8 sites total: 4 single campsites along the east shore and 4 double sites at the north end of the lake, connected by a scenic trail that provides access to several fishing jetties. The lake is a popular fishing destination stocked with trout, bass, and catfish, with both a boat ramp on the east shore and a hand-launch ramp on the north end. This is a primitive campground with vault toilets but no potable water, so visitors must bring all necessary water for drinking, cooking, washing, and extinguishing campfires. Campfires are only allowed in designated fire rings within campsites and are prohibited along the lake edge and trail. Dogs must be kept on leash, and camping is limited to 14 days. The campground is accessed via Forest Service Road 44N30X from the town of Bray.
