About

Old Logging Trail Campground sits within St. Croix State Park, Minnesota's largest state park encompassing over 34,000 acres along the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway and the Kettle River State Wild and Scenic River. The campground offers 90 sites suitable for tents, campers, and RVs, with 20 sites featuring electric hookups. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. A modern restroom and shower building serves the campground. The campground is conveniently located within walking distance of the camp store, ranger station, St. Croix Lodge, and the park's Interpretive Center. A paved bike trail and numerous hiking trails border the campground, providing easy access to the park's recreational opportunities. The St. Croix River offers excellent canoeing and kayaking, while the park's extensive trail system accommodates hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders. St. Croix State Park provides a true wilderness experience despite its accessibility. The park's forests, wetlands, and river corridors support diverse wildlife. The park also features a dump station, firewood sales, and ice available during the camping season.
