Equestrian Campground

Located at the All Seasons Trail Center within Saint Croix State Park, this equestrian campground caters specifically to horseback riders exploring Minnesota's largest state park. The 40 campsites offer overhead tie lines or hitching rails, with most sites providing electric hookups. A shared corral is available for all campers. The facility includes a heated shelter building with restrooms, hot-water showers, indoor fireplaces, and a cooking area. The campground provides direct access to 75 miles of designated horseback riding trails winding through the park's 34,000+ acres of forest and river bluffs along the St. Croix River. Riders over 16 must purchase a Horse Pass for trail use. The equestrian area operates seasonally from April through November for horse camping, then converts to snowmobile use December through March. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and manure management facilities. Water, vault toilets, flush toilets, trash dumpsters, and an RV dump station serve the campground area. Reservations are available up to 120 days in advance through the Minnesota DNR reservation system.

Directions

From Hinckley, take MN-48 east approximately 15 miles to the park entrance. The All Seasons Trail Center and equestrian campground are located within the park.
