About

The Norway Point Guest Houses at St. Croix State Park provide comfortable group lodging in Minnesota's largest state park, spanning over 34,000 acres along the St. Croix and Kettle Rivers. Built in the early 1940s by the Veterans' Conservation Corps, these historic structures feature restored handcrafted wood furniture and modern amenities including full kitchens, heat, and air conditioning. Guest House 1 accommodates up to 15 guests across 8 bedrooms with 13 twin and 2 full beds. It includes two full bathrooms with showers on each floor plus a half bath, and is wheelchair accessible. Guest House 2 sleeps 12 in 6 bedrooms with 10 twin and 2 full beds and two full bathrooms with showers on each floor. Both houses have outdoor fire rings, picnic tables, pedestal grills, and parking for up to six vehicles. The guest houses provide direct access to over 100 miles of trails including groomed cross-country ski trails and a five-mile paved bicycle path to Lake Clayton's swimming beach. The park features the historic 100-foot CCC fire tower, canoe access to two rivers, horseback riding trails, and the Norway Point Group Center area originally constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1937.
