The Guest Houses at Norway Point offer a unique blend of rustic beauty and modern convenience within Saint Croix State Park, Minnesota's largest state park at over 34,000 acres. Available year-round, these two well-appointed houses provide comfortable accommodations for families and groups seeking to explore the park's extensive trail systems and natural beauty. Guest House 1 accommodates up to 15 people in eight bedrooms with 15 beds, featuring two full bathrooms with showers on each floor plus one half-bath. It is fully ADA accessible. Guest House 2 sleeps 12 in six bedrooms with 10 beds and includes two full bathrooms with showers. Both houses come equipped with full kitchens, heat, and air conditioning, making them ideal for visits in any season. Each property includes outdoor amenities such as a fire ring, picnic table, and pedestal grill, with parking for up to six vehicles. Located near the historic Norway Point area originally built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1937, the guest houses provide immediate access to groomed cross-country ski trails and a five-mile paved bicycle trail. The park's location along two scenic rivers—the Saint Croix River (a National Scenic Riverway) and the Kettle River (a State Wild and Scenic River)—offers excellent opportunities for canoeing, fishing, and wildlife viewing. Guests must bring their own bedding and linens and are responsible for cleaning after their stay, with cleaning supplies provided.

Directions

From Hinckley, Minnesota, head east on State Highway 48 for approximately 15 miles. Turn right onto County Road 22 and continue for about 10 miles to reach the entrance of St. Croix State Park. Follow park signs to the Norway Point Group Center.
