Oconee Point Campground occupies 70 gently sloping acres covered in pines and mixed hardwoods on Hartwell Lake's western shore. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District, the campground provides 70 campsites arranged along paved roads, all equipped with water and 30/50-amp electric hookups. Each site includes a gravel parking spur ranging from 20 to 40 feet, a picnic table, lantern post, fire ring, and grill. Facilities include five comfort stations (three with showers), a dump station, boat ramp with courtesy dock, two playgrounds, and a designated swim beach. Hartwell Lake offers excellent fishing for largemouth bass, crappie, bream, catfish, striped bass, and hybrid bass, along with opportunities for waterskiing, sailing, and motor boating. The campground is a short drive from Clemson, South Carolina, providing access to groceries, fuel, and dining. The gated entrance opens at 7 a.m. and locks at 10 p.m. Check-in is 3 p.m., check-out is 2 p.m., and stays are limited to 14 consecutive nights within any 30-day period. Pets must be leashed (6 feet max) and are prohibited on the swim beach, playgrounds, and in restrooms.

From Interstate 85 in South Carolina, take exit 11 onto State Highway 24 toward Townville. About 1.5 miles past Townville, turn right onto Coneross Creek Road.
