About

Sadlers Creek State Park sits on a scenic 395-acre peninsula jutting into 56,000-acre Lake Hartwell in Anderson County, South Carolina. The lakefront campground provides 52 sites spread along the shoreline, with 51 standard sites featuring individual water and electric hookups and 14 designated tent-only sites served by central water. RV sites can accommodate rigs up to 40 feet in length. Campers have access to restroom facilities with hot showers, a dump station, picnic tables, and fire rings. The park offers excellent fishing opportunities for bass, bream, crappie, catfish, and trout, with two boat ramps providing direct lake access. Six miles of bike and walking trails wind through the property, along with a 0.3-mile nature trail for wildlife observation. Reservations require a minimum two-night stay and can be made up to 13 months in advance. Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. and check-out at 12:00 p.m. The park charges a small daily admission fee. Pets are welcome throughout the outdoor areas when kept on a leash no longer than six feet.
