About

Ocean Pond Campground is a popular destination in Florida's Osceola National Forest, attracting over 100,000 visitors annually to its shores on a scenic two-mile-wide natural lake. The campground offers 67 drive-up sites divided into three sections: 19 sites with electric (30/50-amp) and water hookups on paved 50-foot spurs, 28 sites with water hookups only, and 20 primitive sites. Every site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. Amenities include flush toilets throughout the campground, with hot showers available in the Electric and Water section bath houses. The Primitive section has flush toilets and sinks but no showers. All campers have access to a boat ramp, RV dump station, swimming beach, and a picnic pavilion with BBQ grill. The beach and boat ramp are reserved for registered campers only. The campground provides excellent fishing opportunities for largemouth bass and speckled perch, and serves as a trailhead for the Florida National Scenic Trail and the Great Florida Birding Trail. Olustee Battlefield Historic State Park is just 4 miles away. Lake City is a 20-minute drive for supplies, dining, and services.
