About
Hog Pen Landing Primitive Camp sits on the northwest shore of Ocean Pond within Osceola National Forest in Baker County, Florida. The campground offers roughly a dozen primitive sites scattered along the shoreline, with about half providing direct waterfront views and the remainder nestled back in the shade of cypress and pine trees draped with Spanish moss. The facility is popular with anglers, boaters, and hunters, featuring a public boat ramp for easy access to Ocean Pond. During hunting season, the area serves as a hunt camp. Amenities are minimal: vault toilets and picnic tables are provided, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. Sites are available first-come, first-served at $10 per night, with an additional $5 fee for extra vehicles. The campground is open year-round and operates 24 hours a day.
