Cobb Primitive Camp sits under the pines of Osceola National Forest in Baker County, offering a quiet, rustic camping experience for hunters and hikers seeking solitude. Located between Ocean Pond and Olustee Battlefield, the camp provides access to the Florida National Scenic Trail and deep forest terrain. This is a primitive area with no developed amenities. There is no potable water, no permanent restrooms, and no designated fire rings or picnic tables. A portable toilet is brought in only during hunting season. Campers must be fully self-sufficient, bringing all water, supplies, and packing out all trash. The camp is especially popular during general gun season (mid-November through early January), when all camping in the forest is restricted to designated hunt camps and Ocean Pond Campground.
