About
North Holiday Park is a day-use recreation area operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the west side of Benbrook Lake, accessible from US Highway 377. The park offers a variety of daytime activities including swimming at the designated beach, fishing, picnicking, boating via the boat ramps, hiking, horseback riding on nearby trails, and wildlife viewing. The facility is equipped with vault toilets and has a nearby marina. Entry fees are required and must be paid by debit or credit card at the paystation; cash and checks are not accepted. No overnight camping or RV parking is permitted at this location. Campers looking for overnight accommodations at Benbrook Lake should consider the nearby Holiday Campground or Bear Creek, both of which offer campsites with various amenities including hookups, screened shelters, and shower facilities.
Directions
From Interstate 20, take Exit 429A for U.S. Highway 377 and go south approximately 3 miles to Stevens Road. Turn left (east) on Stevens and go 1/3 mile to Lakeview Road, then turn left (north) and go another 0.5 miles to the park entrance.
