About

Holiday Park campground sits on the west side of Benbrook Lake, just southwest of Fort Worth in the scenic open countryside of rolling hills and prairie meadows. As the main campground on the lake, it provides 105 developed campsites accommodating a variety of camping styles. The campground offers 43 sites with 20/30 amp electric and water hookups, 31 sites with 20/30/50 amp electric and water, 5 enclosed screen shelters with 20/30/50 amp electric and water, and 26 primitive sites without hookups. All campsites include a covered table, parking, and a cooker. The park's natural landscape varies from wooded creek bottoms to upland prairie, with rocky hillsides and open shoreline areas perfect for wildlife viewing. Visitors commonly spot white-tailed deer, wild turkey, bluebirds, kinglets, woodpeckers, and chickadees throughout the park. Developed trails wind through Holiday Park, offering access to over 14 miles of hiking and equestrian trails, with Site 65 designated specifically for equestrian camping. Water-based recreation is easily accessible with boat ramps located at both ends of the campground, featuring courtesy docks for loading and unloading. A fishing pier provides shoreline angling opportunities. Three restrooms with showers serve the campground. Fort Worth's renowned Cultural District, Stockyards National Historic District, Botanical Gardens, Zoo, and downtown Sundance Square are all within easy driving distance.

Directions

From I-20 or I-820 in southwest Fort Worth, take exit 429A for Highway 377 toward Granbury. Continue 5.7 miles and turn left on Pearl Ranch Road. Continue 2 miles east to the park entrance.
