The single-lane, winding access road leads to this popular destination for families, campers, and fishing enthusiasts. The campground features a small boat launch available before reaching the camping area, offering access to Lake Roosevelt when water levels permit. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table, with vault toilets available throughout the campground. The heavily treed area provides excellent shade during hot summer months, making it a sought-after destination for those looking to escape the heat. Nearby attractions include the historic St. Paul's Mission, Fort Colville, and the Hudson Bay Company Post on the Upper Columbia. Sherman Drive, a scenic loop, provides additional exploration opportunities in the area. The campground is limited to 14 consecutive nights per campground within a 30-day period, with a maximum of two vehicles and ten people per site.
