About
Nineteenmile Campground is located along the Chiwawa River in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, approximately 22 miles from Lake Wenatchee. This remote campground offers 4 campsites situated in a glacial valley floor with direct river access for fishing and water recreation. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations available. Visitors should be prepared for primitive conditions and plan accordingly. The access road becomes increasingly rugged, with the final 10 miles consisting of very rough gravel and dirt that may not be suitable for low clearance vehicles. The campground is typically open seasonally during summer and early fall months, with closures occurring in late fall through early spring due to road conditions and weather.
