About

19 Mile Campground sits along the scenic Chiwawa River in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, approximately 22 miles from Lake Wenatchee. This small, rustic campground features 4 first-come, first-served campsites and provides direct river access for fishing and relaxation. The campground experiences light use and offers a peaceful escape into nature. The campground is equipped with vault toilets and picnic tables at each site, but no drinking water is available, so campers must bring their own. Each campsite includes a fire pit, and the maximum trailer length is 30 feet. The site fee is $20 per night, with an additional vehicle fee of $7-10 per night. Access to the campground requires travel on Chiwawa River Road, where the final 10-mile section is very rough gravel and dirt, making it unsuitable for low clearance vehicles. The campground operates seasonally and typically closes for winter due to snow and road conditions. This remote location offers solitude and opportunities for fishing, hiking, and exploring the surrounding national forest.
