About
Nason Creek Campground is located approximately 19 miles north of Leavenworth, Washington, at 1,900 feet elevation in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. The campground is situated on both sides of Nason Creek near the southeastern end of Lake Wenatchee, set within old-growth forest in the Cascade foothills.
The campground features 70 single sites and 3 double sites, a mix of standard nonelectric and tent-only sites. All sites include picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. Six flush toilet restrooms with electrical outlets are distributed throughout the campground. Potable water is available via handpumps and spigots in common areas, though RV hoses cannot be attached to the water systems.
The area offers excellent access to hiking, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, and mountain biking in warmer months. Lake Wenatchee provides fishing opportunities for rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and kokanee salmon. Winter activities include skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Lake Wenatchee State Park and the Stevens Pass Historic District are nearby.
