About
Located at the far end of Cedar Brae Road on the south shore of Lake Wenatchee, Glacier View Campground offers a peaceful retreat within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Named for its views of Glacier Peak, one of Washington's major volcanoes, this campground sees lighter use than other Lake Wenatchee campgrounds due to its more remote location. The campground features 23 sites total, with 16 walk-in sites situated right on the lakeshore providing excellent privacy and water access. The remaining sites accommodate small trailers up to 15 feet. A hand-pump well provides drinking water, and vault toilets serve the campground. A small boat launch allows campers to explore the lake by motorized or non-motorized watercraft. Operating on a first-come, first-served basis, the campground welcomes visitors who prefer a more spontaneous camping experience. The lakeside setting and forested surroundings create an ideal environment for fishing, boating, swimming, and enjoying the natural beauty of the Cascade foothills.
