Goose Creek Campground is situated along Goose Creek near the Chiwawa River in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, approximately 21 miles from Leavenworth. This campground offers a quiet setting in a valley floor with convenient access to motorcycle and off-highway vehicle trails, making it popular among OHV enthusiasts. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis only and features 29 total campsites, including 26 single sites and 3 double sites. Sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire rings. Basic amenities include vault toilets and drinking water available from a hand pump. Visitors should be prepared to pack out all trash and bring cash or check for payment, which can be made on-site or via the Recreation.gov mobile app using the Scan and Pay feature where cellular service is available. The campground is typically closed during winter months due to snow and road conditions. Located about 1 mile off Chiwawa River Road on Forest Road 6100, the area experiences light usage and offers a more primitive camping experience for those seeking access to motorized recreation opportunities in the surrounding national forest.

Directions

From Leavenworth, travel southwest on US-2 West for 15 miles. Turn right onto WA-207 North and go 4.3 miles. Take a slight right onto Chiwawa Loop Road and go 1.2 miles. Turn left onto Chiwawa River Road and go 3.2 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 6208 and go 423 feet. Turn right on Forest Road 6100 and go about 1 mile. The campground will be on the right.
