About
Finner Creek Campground is a small, lightly used campground tucked along Finner Creek near the Chiwawa River in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. With just three sites, it provides a quiet, secluded camping experience for those seeking solitude and access to the surrounding wilderness. The campground sits at 2,450 feet elevation and serves as a trailhead for hiking and equestrian trails. Amenities are basic but functional: vault toilets and potable water available from a hand pump. Each site accommodates up to 2 tents or 1 RV and 1 tent, with a maximum of 2 vehicles per site. The campground is first-come, first-served only with no advance reservations. On-site payment is available via the Recreation.gov mobile app's Scan and Pay feature, though visitors should download the app before arrival due to limited cell service in the area. The campground is accessed via Chiwawa River Road, approximately 15 miles from the Chiwawa Loop Road turnoff. The road is unpaved and may be rough in sections. Interagency Senior/Access pass holders receive a 50% discount on the single site fee.
