About

Glendalough State Park's four camper cabins provide a comfortable year-round camping experience in a serene, vehicle-free environment. Located within the cart-in campground along the shores of Annie Battle Lake, these cabins are positioned 250 to 1200 feet from the parking area, with wheeled carts provided to transport gear. Each cabin features heat and electricity, making them ideal for winter adventures, along with one sleeping room and a screen porch. Outside, guests will find a picnic table and fire ring. The cabins share the campground's seasonal shower and toilet facilities, and drinking water is available when the campground is fully operational. The location offers exceptional access to Glendalough's extensive trail system, including the Annie Battle Lake Trail and groomed winter trails for skiing and snowshoeing. The park's centerpiece, 335-acre Annie Battle Lake, is designated as a Heritage Fishery with no motors or electronics allowed, providing a peaceful setting for paddling and fishing. Glendalough sits in the transition zone between prairie and hardwood forest, offering diverse landscapes including restored prairies, wetlands, and woodlands. The historic Glendalough Lodge and year-round Trail Center provide indoor facilities and equipment rentals. With no vehicle traffic in the campground area, guests enjoy a truly peaceful retreat while still having modern amenities in their heated cabins.
