Glendalough State Park Cart-in Campground

Open — Open year-round with reservations available. Camping cabins can be reserved any day from April through October, or Thursday through Sunday during winter months.

About

Glendalough State Park's cart-in campground provides a unique and peaceful camping experience free from vehicle traffic. The campground features 22 secluded tent sites nestled in the woods, ranging from 200 to 1,300 feet from the parking area. Each site is equipped with a provided wheeled cart to transport gear, along with a picnic table, fire ring, and storage bench to protect food from raccoons. Several campsites offer scenic views of Annie Battle Lake, and there is a small boat landing below the campground for water access. The campground also includes 4 year-round camping cabins located 250 to 1,200 feet from parking. These rustic cabins feature one sleeping room and a screened porch, with electricity and heat provided. The campground offers shower facilities and vault toilets. The cart-in design ensures a quiet, nature-focused experience ideal for families and campers seeking a more primitive setting while still maintaining reasonable access to their gear.
