About

Sibley State Park is a scenic destination in west-central Minnesota, located 15 miles north of Willmar near New London. The park features two main campgrounds: Lakeview Campground, which was completely reconstructed in May 2025 with 41 modernized sites (40 electric, 1 non-electric), and Oak Ridge Campground with 58 sites (34 electric, 24 non-electric). An equestrian campground is also available for campers with horses. All drive-in campsites include a picnic table, tent or RV pad, and fire ring with grill for cooking. The campgrounds offer flush toilets, hot-water showers, drinking water, trash collection via dumpsters, and a centralized dump station that serves both Lakeview and Oak Ridge. Electric hookups are available at most sites for an additional nightly fee. The park provides excellent access to Lake Andrew and over 18 miles of hiking trails through hardwood forests and prairies. Mount Tom offers panoramic views of the surrounding glacial landscape. Facilities operate at full capacity from mid-May through mid-October, with limited services during the off-season.
