About

Mountain View Campground sits on the eastern shore of Little Redfish Lake, surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area in central Idaho. The small campground has just six sites, all operated on a first-come, first-served basis with on-site payment via fee envelope or the Recreation.gov Scan and Pay mobile app. The setting offers direct access to Little Redfish Lake for non-motorized boating, swimming, and fishing. Several wilderness trailheads are nearby, including Alpine Way and Redfish trails into the Sawtooth Wilderness and Boundary Creek trail into the White Clouds Wilderness. The Redfish Lake Visitor Center nearby provides interpretive programs. Between Little Redfish Lake and Redfish Lake, campers can access commercial services including showers, a gas station with propane, an RV dump station, and horse rentals. The campground enforces a 10-day stay limit within any 30-day period for areas within a 30-mile radius.
