About
Chinook Bay Campground is composed of 13 campsites on the north side of Little Redfish Lake on Little Redfish Creek, situated in a lodgepole pine overstory. All sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis only, with no advance reservations. Visitors can pay for campsites on-site by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app's Scan and Pay feature. The campground offers excellent opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, wading, hiking, biking, and floating. Nearby Redfish Lake features interpretive trails, a visitor center, interpretive programs, equestrian stables, boat rentals, and a dump station. Several wilderness trailheads are in the surrounding area, including Alpine Way and Redfish trails that lead into the Sawtooth Wilderness, and Boundary Creek trail which leads into the White Clouds Wilderness. The area is renowned for photography of the beautiful Sawtooth and White Clouds Wilderness areas and surrounding lakes and mountains. Note that motorized watercraft are not allowed on Little Redfish Lake.

From Stanley, go 1.5 miles south on ID 75 and less than a mile south on Forest Road 214 to the campground.
