About
Morgans Bridge Campground sits along a scenic stretch of the Blackfoot River in southeastern Idaho, managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The 12 developed sites include 10 that are vehicle-accessible and 2 walk-in sites, all available on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees or reservation system. An undeveloped boat launch serves as a put-in/take-out point for floaters, kayakers, and canoeists. Facilities are basic but functional: a vault toilet, picnic tables, and fire rings. There is no potable water, no dumpsters, and no hookups. Visitors must bring their own drinking water and pack out all trash. The 14-day stay limit is standard for BLM lands. The Blackfoot River corridor offers quality trout fishing and opportunities for wildlife viewing. Morgans Bridge is one of several BLM campgrounds spaced along the river, making it a convenient stop for those floating downstream or exploring the area.
