About

Graves Creek Campground is a quiet BLM-managed recreation site situated along the Blackfoot River north of Soda Springs, Idaho. The campground offers 5 developed campsites on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees and no reservation system. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables at each site, fire rings, and a horseshoe pit for recreation. The Blackfoot River provides excellent fishing opportunities and serves as a corridor for non-motorized floating. The campground has an undeveloped put-in/take-out area for canoes, kayaks, small rafts, and drift boats. The floatable section from Government Dam to Trail Creek Bridge spans 23 river miles with typical summer flows ranging from 200 to 800 CFS. Floating below Trail Creek Bridge is not recommended due to Class IV and above rapids. This is a primitive campground with no potable water, hookups, showers, or dump station. Visitors are expected to follow Leave No Trace principles and pack out all trash. A 14-day stay limit applies. The campground is one of five BLM sites along the Blackfoot River, positioned between Morgan's Bridge to the north and Cutthroat Trout Campground to the south.
