About

Cutthroat Trout Campground is a free semi-developed camping area managed by the Bureau of Land Management along the scenic Blackfoot River in eastern Idaho. With just 3 campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis, this quiet spot offers a more secluded riverside experience compared to larger developed campgrounds in the area. The campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets, picnic tables at each site, and fire rings. A horseshoe pit adds a recreational element, and an undeveloped put-in/take-out serves floaters using non-motorized watercraft on the Blackfoot River. Anglers will find good fishing opportunities along this stretch of river. This is one of five campgrounds along the Blackfoot River corridor, situated between Graves Creek and Sagehen Flats campgrounds. Visitors should come prepared to pack out all trash as there are no dumpsters on site. A 14-day stay limit applies.
