Millersylvania State Park Campground

Open — Open year-round for camping. The park operates on seasonal schedules with extended hours from April 1 to September 30 and reduced hours from October 1 to March 31. Winter camping is available with some facilities operating on a limited basis.

About

Located eight miles south of Olympia, Millersylvania State Park encompasses 842 acres of old-growth forest along 3,300 feet of Deep Lake shoreline. The park's campground includes 139 campsites divided between standard sites and partial hookup sites with electric and water. Built in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the park retains its vintage character with roomy campsites and classic facilities. The campground features modern amenities including flush restrooms, hot showers, and a dump station. Deep Lake offers two designated swimming beaches and a hand-carry boat launch with a 5 MPH no-wake restriction. More than eight miles of hiking and biking trails wind through towering old-growth cedar and fir trees, offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. The park includes multiple kitchen shelters available for day use or reservation, an amphitheater, and picnic areas. During summer months, visitors can access concessions including boat rentals, a taphouse, and firewood sales from local Boy Scout troops. The park welcomes pets on leash and allows fires in designated fire pits and grills.

Millersylvania State Park is located at 12245 Tilley Road S, Olympia, WA 98512. From I-5, take exit 95 and head east on Maytown Road SW. Turn left onto Tilley Road S and continue for approximately 3 miles to reach the park entrance.
