About

Millersylvania State Park is a 842-acre old-growth forest campground located on the shores of Deep Lake, just south of Olympia. The park provides a peaceful retreat with towering Douglas firs, Western red cedars, and a diverse understory typical of Pacific Northwest lowland forests. Campers can choose from standard sites and partial hookup sites with electric connections, with some sites also offering water hookups. Sites 1-7 and 226-248 remain open year-round with reservations available throughout the year. The park features two sandy swimming beaches on Deep Lake, a hand-carry boat launch with a 5 MPH no-wake speed limit, and miles of forested hiking and biking trails. An amphitheater, horseshoe pits, and reservable kitchen shelters provide additional recreation options. Seasonal concessions include espresso service, shave ice, boat rentals, and a lakeside taphouse with craft beverages. Campground amenities include flush restrooms, hot showers, drinking water, picnic tables, fire pits, and a dump station. Firewood is prohibited from being gathered but is available for purchase from local Boy Scout troops (Memorial Day through Labor Day), the Camp Host, or the Ranger Station. The park is accessible, with ADA-compliant campsites, restrooms, and parking.
